I used to walk old roads years ago before I even became interested in MDing. I always wondered who had walked this path before, Roman Legionnaires or Pilgrims ? Since metal detecting I now have a different view ... looking at items I found... how was it used how precious was it to the person who lost it. Everyday items are for me just as interesting as "special" finds.

Hi Guy's & Gals .... Well what can I say, Take the bull by the horns.... not literally that could be dangerous :-) Introduce myself ? OK I'm Graham 67 yrs ( in the body of a 90 yr old ) struggle at times to get round a field, 2 hours and I'm f*cked .... pain arthritis & hip replacement. I live near Mablethorpe Lincolnshire. Enjoy what I can when I can, been detecting just 3 yrs ( ok more like 1 with Covid Lockdown ) I like artefacts, but would love to find a Celtic or Roman coin. Just got my first permission a 3 acre paddock hopefully I might uncover more than ring pulls or horseshoes Lol. I really need to get out more .......
